ZIL PMZ 53A fire truck

The history of the PMZ-53A began with the production of a series of PMZ-53 tank trucks with a metal body and a cabin. The car was equipped with a pump PN-ZOK, tank capacity - 1950 l. On the back wall of the tank truck of the first issues was mounted mounting for the removable sleeve coil RK-3, which was wound seven rubberized sleeves. After further modernization (increasing the tank capacity for water up to 2100 l and foaming agent up to 150 l), which resulted in an increase in the total weight of the car to 8270 kg, the designers managed to reduce the overall length of the tanker to 6930 mm. The machine was assigned the PMZ-53A index. Release of tank trucks PMZ-53A was discontinued in 1965.
