Congratulations to all Ukrainians on the Day of the State Flag of Ukraine!
“In honor of the centuries-old history of Ukrainian statehood, the state symbols of independent Ukraine and in order to foster citizens’ respect for the state symbols of Ukraine, I decide to establish in Ukraine the Day of the State Flag of Ukraine, which is celebrated annually on August 23,” .2004 № 987/2004 a holiday is established, which we all celebrate with you today.
The flag is a symbol of the indomitable spirit, independence, honor and glory of our people. Under the blue-and-yellow banner, the struggle for a free Ukraine has taken place and continues to take place!
Let us honor our state symbol as an important national shrine!
