The vast majority of the world’s prosperous companies talk about the strategic session as the most effective tool for defining strategic business goals and developing a plan of tactical action for their implementation.
The list of issues discussed during the strategic sessions is quite extensive. As a rule, they relate to:
- development of the company in the long and medium term;
- priorities for the coming year;
- development of functional strategies – HR, production, sales, marketing, finance;
- development of corporate values and competency model
This year’s strategic session in our Company is a three-day marathon, where CEO Oleg Averyanov together with the top management and middle managers of the company, step by step, developed a strategy for the next year.
Holding strategic sessions is extremely important, especially in times of crisis. After all, it is necessary to clearly choose the vector of the Company’s actions, to form critical goals (CEC) and a system of leading indicators for their achievement. The main task of such events is for the manager of each level of the Company to understand and convey to his team that the Company lives and develops only when everyone works daily to achieve the EIC.
As a result of the session, all important goals were discussed and ways to achieve them were identified. We have something to work on and something to strive for, so we do not stop, but move on!
